StudyLet

We just shipped a massive update to Studylet! From a brand-new high-performance AI Career Hub to a streamlined navigation overhaul, here is everything that landed in this update.

🎓 1. Brand-New Dedicated Career Hub (<code>/career</code>)

Navigating high school paths, college majors, SAT goals, and resume building just got an upgrade with our dedicated AI Career Advisor page!

Live Status &amp; Workspace: A dedicated header with a live pulsing <code>Online • Upgraded Engine</code> indicator so you always know your advisor is powered up and ready to chat.

Smart Reset: Quick <code>Reset Chat</code> button to clear your context instantly whenever you want to start fresh on a new career topic.

Modern Chat UI: Slick, right-aligned user messages paired with custom avatar-backed AI Advisor responses.

Visual Resume &amp; Document Review (Vision Capable):

- Integrated paperclip attachment button supporting PDFs and Images (up to 5MB).
- Converts documents directly into a base64 vision payload so the AI can physically read, review, and give feedback on your resume formatting or course transcripts!

UX Safety: The Send button auto-disables when the input is empty or while a response is actively generating to prevent double-submits.

25ms Custom Typewriter Engine: Powered by an intelligent frontend queue, incoming response blocks are smoothly released word-by-word every 25 milliseconds—giving you that natural typing feel alongside an "Advisor is thinking..." loading state!

⚡ 2. Upgraded AI Backend Engine (<code>ai-career-advisor</code>)

Under the hood, we built a brand-new serverless Edge Function running directly on modern edge nodes—zero Python dependencies required!

Powered by NVIDIA NIM &amp; Google DiffusionGemma 26B: We connected the career page directly to Google's cutting-edge <code>google/diffusiongemma-26b-a4b-it</code> model hosted via NVIDIA NIM!

Deep Reasoning Capabilities: Configured with <code>enable_thinking</code>, a 4,096 max token allowance, <code>temperature: 1</code>, and <code>top_p: 0.95</code> for incredibly rich, nuanced, and encouraging career/college guidance.

Seamless Authentication: Reuses your existing stored NVIDIA NIM API key out of the box—no extra setup or secret management needed!

We revamped our navigation layout to put our core AI tools front and center while keeping the main bar clean:

Added <code>"AI Career"</code>: Direct 1-click access to the new <code>/career</code> page right from the main navigation bar.

Cleaner Top Bar: Moved <code>Invite</code> and <code>Shop</code> out of the primary header to reduce clutter.

Profile Dropdown Updates: You can now access your Invite Friends link directly inside the profile dropdown menu right alongside the Theme Shop!

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.

Prototype integrations answer

In this prototype demo, invite teammates from workspace settings, then choose the access each teammate needs before sending the invitation.

Prototype invite-team answer

This prototype demo does not have a scripted answer for that question yet. Try asking how to invite your team or open a source article. No production Fin API was called.
